The Agua Fria Jazz Band takes place from December to April. Members of the Jazz Band will study improvisation solos through listening examples in rehearsal and will have the opportunity to perform many different jazz styles throughout the season. The Jazz Band rehearses once per week on Tuesdays from December through April from 6-8pm. The jazz band has the opportunity to compete and perform at concerts.
Auditions for Jazz Band will take place in December prior to the start of rehearsal. Auditions will not be blind and will consist of the following: Chromatic scale, and a 2 octave blues scale in the appropriate style.
